Pakistan's Opening Performance Brilliant Or Poor

Pakistan have succeeded in their first game of the world cup warm up matches. They have beaten Bangladesh By 89 runs. Although, they got victory but their senior players and sricket specialists are not happy with their batting performance. Misbah, the test captain, and Ahmad Shehzad, the young opener, both made centuries to made a good score for pakistan. Except 203 runs of these two players and 10 extra runs all other players have made only 72 runs. Kamran Akmal, Younis Khan and Abdul Razzaq failed to get into double figures.
Pakistani cricket experts are not happy with their batting order. According to them Team is losing a match wining player (Kamran Akmal) by sending him up in the order. Acoording to them Younis khan have to bat at no. 3 Umar Akmal at 4 Misbah at 5 Kamran Akmal at 6 Shahid Afridi at 7 and Abdul Razzaq have to bat at no.8. Now its upto the Think tank of the Pakistani cricket team to make a suitable bating order according to the abilities of their players.

     Award Winning Performance by GUL
When the force is with Umar Gul, there are few more irresistible bowlers in world cricket. At The Oval in September 2010, in the aftermath of the spot-fixing scandal that had led to the suspensions of his fellow seamers Mohammad Asif and Mohammad Amir, and with Pakistan 2-0 down in a five-match one-day series and facing another thumping defeat beneath the floodlights, he transformed a meandering contest with an extraordinary demolition of England's batting line-up.
Gul had not been at his best in 2010. He missed the World Twenty20 in the Caribbean - a grievous blow to the defending champions, for whom he had claimed 13 wickets at 12.15 in their 2009 triumph - and while he hit some form in the Test series against England, a hamstring problem had sidelined him for the final two matches. But with his team on their knees and desperate for an injection of inspiration, he found his mojo at the most opportune moment imaginable.
Everything seemed to be going swimmingly for England. They were chasing an insubstantial 242, and had overcome an early jitter to reach 201 for 5 with 12 full overs remaining. Eoin Morgan was at the crease, the asking rate was barely three an over, and the tricky twilight hour had already been negotiated, so the Oval floodlights were now in full beam. The series was in the bag, but Gul was about to snatch the satchel and sprint off down the street with it.

The collapse began innocuously enough. With two wickets to his name already, Gul returned to the attack for his eighth over, and struck with his first ball as Morgan carelessly wafted a leg-stump delivery straight to deep square leg. As England's champion departed for 61, Gul needed no further invitation to run amok. Two runless deliveries later, Tim Bresnan had no answer to a fearsome delivery that pitched and fizzed through a bamboozled gate, and suddenly the game was alive.
When Gul gets it going, it's as if the ball is on a string. It zips out of his fingers like an 85mph yo-yo, and snaps off the surface with an apparent disregard for physics. Stuart Broad had no answer for such wiles, and his stumps were uprooted by a late swerving Yorker. With the very last ball of Gul's ten-over allocation, England's final hope was extinguished as Graeme Swann was suckered by a rare half-volley that he felt compelled to poke straight to cover.
From 201 for 5 to 211 for 9, and ultimately 218 all out, England's collapse was as sudden and unstoppable as anything they produced back in the days of Wasim and Waqar, and the latter was a very contented coach when he described Gul's performance as the spell that his team had needed. Once again they had found a ray of light at the precise moment when their fortunes had seemed to be at their lowest. Even at 2-1 up, it would take every ounce of England's mental strength to fight their way back into the series, and ultimately to prevail.

A Nightmare for the Captains

Being a captain a player has to take care of himself as well as his team mates. A captain's responsibilty is alot more than other players of the squad. He is not only the leader of the squad but also a main part of the Think Tank. It is just like nightmare for a captain to lose his important player or players at the edge of the biggest tournament of the game. Many captains have seen this nightmare in the past, but in present it has become a usuall thing for the captains. Many teams are struggling from injured players in this crucial time when World Cup is just on head.
Micheal Hussey who has proved his selection in the team and who is considered as a match winning player for the Aussies is dissiponted for being Dropped from the WC squad, as he is not 100% fit. Hauritz is also dropped From the squad for the same reason. The Australian captain Ricky Ponting was injured but he will lead his squad in the World Cup.
Many English players were injured during their tour to Australia in their one-day series. Few of them have recovered but like australians they have also lost their middle-order batsman Eoin Morgan who is replaced by Ravi Bopara.
Indian pace attack is also changed after the injury of Praveen Kumar who is now replaced by Sreesanth. Same in their neighbours Pakistan have lost Sohail Tanvir who is replaced by a left hand fast bowler Junaid Khan who will debut his international career in the Mega event.

World Cup 2011

After some astonishing performances of cricket all around the globe now all the eyes of the Cricket Lovers are set on the biggest tournament of the cricket. It will be the 10th worldcup of the cricket and Australia will try harder to defend their trophy and to make a new record by winning fourth world cup in the row. Will they succeed in their mission as they are (like several other teams) under the dark clouds of Injuries. The australian captain has broken his finger during  the Ashes . Many other stars of cricket are Injured including Micheal hussey. Graeme Swann, Paul collingwood, Ahmad shehzad, Eoin Morgan (England). New zealand is also suffering from the same conditions. Despite the injuries this world cup will be intrusting to watch as cricket is improved alot after the worlcup of 2007. T20 cricket has cast a great impact on the international cricket. Players and the captains have learnt alot from three t20 world cups and three sessions of IPL (Indian Premier League). All the teams are hopeful to win the event. Some teams are favourite while others are not but it is not Important as in the past many teams which were not favourite in the tournament won the worldcup. Like India in 1983, Pakistan in 1992, Sri lanka in 1996. We can expect some Upsets as well like in the past when Kenya beats West indies and Bangladesh beat Pakistan when they were on their top form, defeat of Pakistan from Ireland and many more. Lets wait for the world cup and hope for the teams to fight harder for their Victories.
